As part of the #quinoa value chain development project funded by the International Research and Development Center (IDRC-CANADA), which aims to improve food and nutrition security in rural Rhamna communities, increase nutrition and income of small #farmers in #marginal areas and making them less vulnerable to #climatechange, the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) in collaboration with the International Center for Biosaline Agriculture (#ICBAAgriculture), organized a training session for women working in cooperatives, farmers and extension agents of the provincial department of agriculture (DPA), national office for food security and safety (ONSSA), national office of Agricultural extension (ONCA) and the province of Ben-Guerir on the production and valorization of quinoa and #organic farming.

The training session held in Ben Guerir, Morocco, on 24-28 September 2018, was aimed at strengthening skills of women, farmers and extension agents of regional agricultural institutions in the Rhamna region.
